Should be recognized as a Switch controller, not noticing (at first glance) an XInput mode but worst case you can tell Steam Input to pretend it is an Xbox controller. I have a controller that has both modes but I tend to do that (in Switch mode) because the gyro is omitted with XInput...not sure why so many companies do that as gyro shouldn't be tied to mode, no functional reason to limit it like that.
BTW there are single controllers available for $20 and open boxes (in both colors) orderable for as low as $14. Great for people like me without any friends
