Finished it on Gamepass but got one just because I liked the game. Cross platform also. Perfect for my Xbox One X and Series S.

you still need xbox live to play it. i got the console that came with a code, never been able to use it because i'm not about to pay yearly for the privilege of online play

Question - If I don't have a console, but do have game pass, can I play this? I.e. Is there a code inside to load to my account, or does this have to be plugged into my console for me to play remotely?

On PS5 you need an internet connection but you don't need PlayStation plus to play solo. It should be the same on Xbox.
