EDIT: for the $150 discount to appear, click through as though you are setting up an EDU (don't have to actually register...), then double back and the EDU pricing will appear. When you go to check out, the EDU discount drops off but the $150 special discount remains!

$700 off the 14" TOTL model (32GB/1TB RAM) or 16" (16GB/1TB).

$600 off promo without Trade In ($450 + $150). This Stacks with the $100 First In App Purchase promo. It also stacks with .EDU discount.

Entry Level 14" 16GB/512GB is $849, might hit $749 but I didn't try it to confirm.

Add to cart in browser, log in, then toggle over to App cart for checkout.

Try to search on Google for it and click through, prices should update with the additional $150 discount.
Also, it has to be added to your cart in a web browser, the extra discount does not show in app but will show in cart, after you add to cart in browser.

It's not working for me. I'm seeing $1199.99 not $1049.99

That is a bummer. I just looked again in browser, still seeing $1049.99. Does Samsung use dynamic pricing now??

Was anybody else able to get this deal? Seems to be a YMMV but for sure I was able to buy it and still looks active today. Here is my invoice for the breakdown to get it to $949.99.

I wasn't able to get the $1049.99 pricing either and only seeing $1199.99. However, I was able to get a similar deal using my workplace discount.

1) Created a Samsung account using my work email.
2) Logged into my Samsung account on a laptop web browser.
3) Added the Galaxy Book5 Pro 14" model with 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD to my cart in laptop web browser. Total price was $1079.99 after $570 discount ($450 promotional + $120 for workplace) before taxes.
4) I logged into my Samsung app on my phone, went to my cart, and the total price was now $979.99 before taxes. An additional $100 discount was automatically applied (see line item "Promo Code" in the screenshot below). The $100 discount only appears in my Samsung app and not on my laptop web browser, so I assume it's an app related discount.

Update: I looked today and it was 1049.99. I was able to stack an edu discount with first time app purchase discount. $844.99 before tax. I bought it. Thanks OP!

I wonder why laptop manufacturers besides Apple keep messing up the ports. Only able to charge from one side. MicroSD instead of SD. Headphone jack on the right. It's insanity. Specs are good, otherwise (except the battery, which is missing 10Wh easy). If you can put a non-Windows OS on it, then all the better.

Just a heads up. I ordered this laptop on December 28. Samsung has yet to ship it and keeps giving me the run around saying it's not in stock.

Thanks for posting that. I went back and checked, clicking through for EDU discount triggers the $600 discount to appear (extra $150) even though not really eligible and not using EDU at check out.

Wow, even better. Congrats!! And yeah it's interesting, even clicking through as if an EDU account, triggers the display of the lower price. Which in fact I had done but was not eligible so paid the $947.

That's so weird, sorry to hear that. FWIW mine shipped in less than 24 hrs. Maybe cancel and re buy?

Can you explain how to trigger the EDU discount? Do I need an account with a .EDU email address?
