Note that this doesn't come with the logitech bolt dongle. This is the same deal as Amazon during Thanksgiving and cyber Monday.

Is there any benefit to that? What was the best deal on the one with the dongle that you can tell so far?

"Connectivity is seamless via Bluetooth Low Energy or the included Logi Bolt USB receiver." -- From the description. What is the point of selling a mouse without the dongle?

Eww no dongle AND $80? Bluetooth is so laggy; even worse than the 125hz polling rate on the dongle.

Only on macOS it is polling at 90 Hz. Don't know why they make this choice, but it is likely related to battery.

I'll stick with my M720 Triathlon... it's served me well for the past decade.

I had one of these for years, but I wouldn't pay anywhere near $80 for one today now that the Master 4 is out (whom I like a lot better)

it's a Bolt dongle for the 3S, not unifying that the 3 uses.

I have the 3 (non "s") which is nearing its end.

Curious why you like the Master 4 a lot better. I'm trying to figure out which mouse to get for my next one.

It seems more responsive, but I also like the serrated area where your thumb goes. Also, the side wheel is amazing for excel sheets.

Same here—I like that the M720 has the device switch button on the side, while the 3S puts it on the bottom.

Had the 3 for years, got the 4 for $89, hated it, returned it, and got a 3s for $80. Worth every penny imo.

My take: the 4 feels slightly more premium (probably due to the heavier weight, silicone texture, and better scroll wheels), but they ruined the shape. Instead of locking into your palm the way the 3/3s does with overhangs for your thumb and pinky finger to hold onto, it tapers toward the top, which combined with the slippery silicone surface makes your hand slip off when trying to pick it up. It's like trying to palm a bar of soap. You basically have to squeeze it move it around, which constantly engages the larger thumb button inadvertently. It's also slightly flatter on top, which puts your wrist at a less comfortable angle and doesn't support your palm as well.

I always get tempted by these deals but the polling rate always turns me away even if it doesn't matter all that much. Currently using a G502 for work, gets the job done for quite a bit less
