The Creality K2 Combo is a fast, beginner-friendly multicolor printer that can be easy to get printing through Creality's store and cloud. The combo and auto Z setup are described as a big step up from older Ender models, with solid results on long runs and far less tinkering than earlier Creality machines. The main concern is reliability, since the K2 line is described as hit or miss, with hotend clogs and other frustrating failures on some units. Costco's return policy lowers the risk, making it a more comfortable way to try it.
Common Questions (4)
The Bambu P1S/P2S is repeatedly recommended as the safer buy for ease of use and fewer headaches. The K2 Combo can print well, but several comments describe Creality as requiring more tweaking, more maintenance, or more time troubleshooting than Bambu.
Yes, it should be better than older Ender models and other printers that need repeated first-layer tuning. The K2 and other newer Creality auto-Z models are described as much easier than Ender 3/Sovol SV06-style printers that drift and need recalibration before each print.
It can be easy to get started with Creality's store and cloud, and one first-time owner reported no failed prints. The main caution is that the K2 line can be hit-or-miss, with some units running for hundreds or thousands of hours and others needing frequent fixes or hotend cleanup.
Yes. Buying from Costco reduces the downside if the printer turns out to be a bad unit, because the return/refund option gives you a way to get your money back if it becomes a problem.

I am still happy with mine and I am planning to buy this exact printer at some point, just wanted to mention it might be a slight gamble.
It's not Bambu easy, but the software is open and you can use whatever you want file wise...which was my reason for sticking w/something other than Bambu.

The Creality printers that have the auto Z are fine.
I also have the Bambu A1C and I love it, the Bambu ecosystem and handy app are really great.
I would not say to get this right now but only because tool changers/ nozzle changers are going to be coming and changing the whole game.
They're not new but they are becoming affordable now.
I was very disappointed though that Creality has 2 new A1 clones coming out and still no tool or nozzle changer.
My ender 3 V3 SE prints fine
But slow and no multicolor so that is mainly why I use the Bambu A1C now.
But this printer is a lot better than the V3 SE so it should work even better and a lot faster
Even with auto Z and all the bed leveling tools you install, you'll end up having to manually adjust everything. spend your time printing instead of tinkering. use that extra time learning CAD.
