I don't think so, at least for most people's closets unless you're organizing entire outfits to hang together to keep shirts+pants together, but for just normal clothes organizing, it doesn't seem worth.
From reviews, the space savings seem super minimal and then it will also make finding something specific more difficult and putting away laundry will take longer too. So you trade a bit of space for an extra chore to do.

Without this thing, if you're looking for something, your eyes can just move in a straight line like left to right to find something. Now you have to look left to right + up and down to find what you want.
BUT, if you plan your outfits or have a kid where you want to keep specific shirts + pants together, this might be a valid purchase.

Make sure you have good hangers or the one on the top will snap at the neck from the weight of multiple items.

I use soda/beer can rings -- I've stacked hangers 4 deep with it and it's functionally the same as these.

Will standard plastic do? I don't think I'd try it with those 'velvet' ones.

Or you can buy 18 for $4.40 so you don't have trash in your closet.

In for one. Moved to a new place with smaller closet. Looks like it'll help until I decided which clothes to get rid of

I bought some of the generic brand that was cheaper than these on Amazon. The problem arises when you link about 5 of them together and you need the middle one in the 'stack.' Stuff starts falling down especially if the clothes are packed tightly in your closet like my shirts are. I stopped using them.

So the clothes hang down to the floor now? Doesn't make sense... And why do you need so much clothes?

how low is the bar in your closet? how does this product indicate how much clothing you have and not say the horizontal space you have?

Got these (similar concept) last year and they really don't actually save space. At least not much.

I don't think there is a single closet in my house where I don't also use the space below the clothes I hang, so this would be pretty useless for those applications.
