From reviews, the space savings seem super minimal and then it will also make finding something specific more difficult and putting away laundry will take longer too. So you trade a bit of space for an extra chore to do.
Without this thing, if you're looking for something, your eyes can just move in a straight line like left to right to find something. Now you have to look left to right + up and down to find what you want.
BUT, if you plan your outfits or have a kid where you want to keep specific shirts + pants together, this might be a valid purchase.
Community Reviews
These hanger hooks are meant to stack clothes vertically and keep outfits together, which can help in smaller closets or when organizing shirts and pants for kids or travel. The main appeal is tidier grouping, but the space savings sound modest and the setup can make it harder to find specific items or put laundry away. Stacking too many hangers can also stress the top hook, and tightly packed closets may cause items to slip. A practical niche tool if the closet layout fits.
Common Questions (4)
It can save only a small amount of space, and the before/after photos can be misleading because the spacer itself takes up room between hangers. In tight closets, the gain may be minimal enough that it is not worth the tradeoff.
They can fail if the hangers are flimsy or if too many are linked together, with the top hook snapping at the neck or items falling when the stack gets heavy. Sturdy hangers are important, especially when closets are tightly packed.
They make more sense for keeping full outfits together, such as shirts and pants, or for kids' clothes. For ordinary closet organization, they can make it harder to find items and slower to put laundry away.
Standard plastic hangers may work, but they need to be sturdy enough to handle the extra load. Thin or weak hangers can snap at the neck when several items are stacked.

You won't have the same risk of breaking your own hangers, and you can pivot the group to horizontal if needed. But in the end, I prefer not using any of them.
All closet space saving items land somewhere on the scale of
"Saves lots of space but makes clothes completely inaccesible"
Like vacuum sealing
to "Saves almost no space and makes clothes far less accessible"
Like these
These will not save space UNLESS you have a ton of wasted vertical space, which is vastly better utilized with a second closet rod (probably near the same price!). The horizontal space can only be saved with thinner hangers in almost all cases.
These make it a nightmare to search in a (mostly full or why are you buying them) closet.
They make it a nightmare to extract a single article of clothing.
They make it much harder to put clothes away.
If you must group outfits together, you are still better off doing so with normal hanger use.
I've tried all the products that are meant to save space in closets, none really save much space other than vacuum sealing but that makes clothes extremely inaccessible, clothes stored this way are usually better stored in longer term storage than a daily closet.
Now, I'd love to hear someone who has used these and has found a real use-case and isn't annoyed....
