Both of my smaller WEN inverter gennies have been going strong for years with minimal use (I only need them maybe six times for around a day each, on average).
In addition, I exercise them by running a space heater from time to time (eg before a major storm hits) and run the stabilizer gas out of no power outage happens.
Finally, I got a magnetic dipstick and it picks up a decent amount of ferrous material during each oil change. I'd recommend getting one for cheap.

Second this. I have a 56225i and its also been going strong for years. I typically change the oil every year (synthetic). I bought one as an xmas present for a cousin in FL. Their unit easily got them through two hurricane seasons.

Anyone worried about 60 db at NO load?? I'm interested but that sounds loud.
My AiPower 2400 watt generator (with yamaha motor) advertised between 52 but it sounds as equally as loud as a Champion 2500 watt. The Champion is advertised at 52 db as well. I feel like it is louder than the advertised db level. So realistically advertised level is the low end. I would guess that it will be louder than 60 db. So, put it farther away from, preferred next to a Karen, then you will be find.
I've got the previous generation of this that i drag out maybe a few times a year, and pretty much ignore maintenance on, and it hasn't given me a lick of trouble in years. great little unit for its price.
Yes for $50.00 more it has dual fuel ( gas & propane ). Propane is much cleaner as not to be smelling the exhaust. I just purchased a dual one off of here at Walmart for $325.00 ( Nex Pow ). Regularly $1350.00. 3200/3500 watt. Now it's back up to $699.00 at Walmart. All search's I did for it was at least $1200.00 even at the manufacture.
