I need to watch transmission temperature when I do transmission fluid changes. How do I know if a particular reader will provide Tx temperature data live?

Have the bigger diagnostic device but got one of this too because of small size to be carried in another older vehicle, especially before going to Smog test (Devil center) and lose more money!
The deal maker for me was the free lifetime data update as my other device does this but for a hefty price!
