Lowe's will not lower the prices. Even with the current low prices it's still over priced. Most of the 12V tools are weak. The only hand tools I recommend are the impact driver and ⅜ impact wrench, I recommend not using this with any 12V battery with less than a 4Ah battery if you're working on your car. The 2Ah battery is powerful enough for assembling IKEA and WALMART furniture.

I use the 12v impact daily as an hvac tech. The 2.0 batteries work perfectly for driving 1/4,5/16 and 3/8 hardware very easily. I've not tried the 4.0 batteries but I honestly haven't needed them.
