I mean tbh. If you looked hard enough, you can get a deal on a black one. Whether new or used. I bought an Ultra 3 for $500 a while back from a pawn shop.

It's brand new. Probably was box damaged. Who knows. But the watch is still sealed and new. Plus apple care doesn't mean anything. Apple doesn't sell this watch new anymore. So I don't know if you'll get apple care anyway.

I am eligible for a Wellness credit through my employer towards a new fitness device. I am currently using an Apple Watch 3 that I bought used several years ago. I am going to upgrade, but have no idea which model to get. Any suggestions? I do not currently sleep with it on (the Model 3 did not have sleep tracking features) and do not currently have a cellular data plan on my model 3.

Do you want a bigger and more feature watch? Go with the Ultra2/3? If not then stick with smaller size Watch 11.

It doesn't matter is Appel still sell them or not. I just got brand new iPhone 14 and it didn't have Apple care activated.

You can use the Compare tool on the Apple website to see which features differ among various models. You can even compare current models to your older Series 3.

The website also has detailed specs like dimensions and weight. Your Series 3 case was either 38mm or 42mm. The Series 11 case is now 42mm or 46mm. The Ultra is larger at 49mm, but is is also noticeably thicker and heavier. (FWIW I recently got an Ultra 2 for myself and my wife got a 42mm Series 11. I upgraded from a 45mm series 7 and she upgraded from a 40mm SE gen 2. We are both very pleased with our new watches.)
