Looking for some advice or shelves. What do people here think?

Costco has a MDF 72x48x24 for $90 each.

They also have a 84x72x24 metal wire one for $300.

Is the metal wire one worth the premium?
I bought six MDF ones 14 years ago and they immediately began bowing under the crushing weight of spray cans, air filters, spark plugs, paint brushes, rags, etc. I've been stacking everything heavy on the floor since. One day, if I ever want to walk around on the floor with more than a 2' pathway, I will eventually have to replace them with plywood and/or try to brace them with 2x4s, which will cost more than they did ... maybe more than replacing them with wire ones (of this style, not the stainless NSF style.)

I don't remember wire racks (of this style) really being popular back then, but you can always zip tie hardboard, 1/8" plywood, etc to the wires. Wish I did.

84x72x24 is a high-priced heavy-duty size (I'm not looking at Costco's website ATM), and I believe I saw a recent post about a sub-$100 72x48x16 stainless NSF style unit at Walmart.

They seem to have 2 different listings, but I can't see any differences between this one and the $87 one.
