This looks kind of cool however THINK about the application and how much room you have for this plug. I have two tall lamps in my living room that operate plugged into WiFi outlets. My first thought was now I can only use one WiFi outlet for both lamps but I would have to plug this in to the side of the outlet and there is not enough room between the wall. Bummer.

Price has been fluctuating and I too have it as $13.50 with no coupons or discount codes. Here is the link from yesterday (01/05/26):

You could start with a 3ft flat-plug extension cord before plugging in the smart plug, followed by this splitter. However, the smart plugs are so cheap lately that you're probably better off with separate plugs. That also lets you control them independently.

I've found this particular item most useful when an outlet is upside down, and the flat plug extension cords whose cords are supposed to point down end up pointing upwards, pulling the plug out. Since these cords go straight out to the side, that doesn't happen even when the outlet is upside down.
