No. Totally wrong.
It's called Cuktech (pronounced CHOOK) because it was named after the inventor, Slobodan Ćuk, creator of the of the Ćuk Circuit in Power electronics (DC to DC converter that steps voltage while inverting its polarity). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%86uk_converter
Apparently this is the rebranded name for ZMI, a Xiaomi company. They have a really good reputation for using quality internal components and comparing favorably to Anker. If you don't mind the name, it should be a high quality GaN charger at a great price.

Cuktech is a Chinese company. Its name roughly translates as "Cooltech." One of the other up and coming tech makers heading into exports is Berf, so the amusement never ends.

This is really good information to have. Anker is starting to raise prices and cut corners. It would be nice to have an alternative that is the equivalent to the old Anker before greed set in.
From the previous threads they are a subsidiary or related to Xiaomi, so pretty big name in China.
From credible reviews it is a solid charger and has good efficiency.
Also has a safety certification so this isn't some generic junk charger.

The greed already set in, the new 160W wattage screen charger has massive advertisement on Bilibili (basically Chinese Youtube), and the price is unreasonably high. Also, for chargers like Cuktech, Anker, Belkin, the price at Chinese market is like 1/2 to 2/3 in US now

This is probably the only brand you should trust other than Anker. Very good reputation in China. Too sad they really mess up their international market with the name.
