This compact USB C white noise machine stands out as a cheap portable sleep aid for kids, travel, and bedside use. The sound library includes fire and thunderstorm effects, the battery life and charge retention are praised, and the hard plastic body is easy to wipe down. It also has a lock feature and works well when an AC powered machine cannot travel. The main drawbacks are looping audio on some tracks, abrupt timer shutoff, and a button layout that can be hard to use in the dark.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. It has been used successfully for kids, babies, and even a newborn in the NICU, and it is also handy for international travel because it is portable and does not rely on AC power. Several owners say it helps children sleep better.
The white noise track can be heard looping, and the white noise sound quality is reported as poor by some users. Other sound options are described as better, and one owner said they did not detect a loop on their unit.
At around $10, it is considered a strong deal if it works as expected, and some shoppers bought multiple units at this price. A lower total of $8.97 was also reported with a discount code.
Yes. It charges via USB-C and the battery life is reported as very good, with one owner saying the charge lasts amazingly. That makes it practical for travel and bedside use without frequent recharging.
No. When the timer ends, it stops abruptly rather than fading out, which can be jarring if you use it to fall asleep. That behavior was confirmed on multiple units.
