I bought this during the black friday sale.. Same price. For what it's worth, it's a nice product but has lots of weird flaws to it.

I've had air fryers for many years.. I don't have a stove or oven, so Air Fryers were my main cooking 'tool' for years. The 8qt basket style were the best types I've tried before this. I wouldn't say this fully replaces a normal air fryer, it's more of a 'different type of air fryer' that can work alongside the basket ones.

I love the open trays (helps cook all sides of food, so fries cook evenly, versus having to move them around/flip them. The rotisserie function is pretty much useless to me, but some may like it. The light feature is super nice, and the touch controls work great for me. I never used the "pre heat" functions before this one, but it's nice to have it..

Biggest issue is going to be the tray design though. The top tray cooks much faster/hotter than the bottom tray. You can't load up 10 wings on the top tray and 10 on the bottom, it will burn the top and undercook the bottom. It's like you need to babysit it and switch the trays around regularly. This design works if you're cooking fries up top and re-heating something on the bottom shelf (that doesn't require as much heat time), but both shelves do not cook anywhere close to evenly.

The other big issue is removing the trays. They're all metal and come out burning hot. There's nothing included to grab them, so you need to get something for that (I bought some little handles off amazon for about $10, you could also use oven mitts) and then you also need some sort of plate/tray to put the trays on (since anything drippy will go right through the holes on the bottom of the tray). You also constantly run into the dripping issue when trying to hot-potato the trays around from top to bottom to make them cook evenly.. pulling the tray out will cause anything to drip onto the front glass piece, making you cook it.

My solution was to use a mix of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRRGLQQK
And cutting boards, so give me something to hold the trays and something to set them on.

Much more hassle than the basket style air fryers.. but at the same time it's such a good deal and works great on some stuff that it's hard to no use.
