It is a pretty solid deal for a Thin & Light budget productivity laptops. The build quality is pretty decent with all aluminum alloy build, good keyboard, user upgradable memory and a decent GPU for light gaming and productivity tasks like Phot/Video editing.

The Omnibook X Flip w/Ultra 9 288V, 32GB, 2TB NVMe, 3K OLED back in November for $999 was the deal to have gone for, as long as the intel ARC 140V graphics were enough for you, and not the 4050 that comes with this.

There is a humongous difference in the CPU performance which you failed to notice. No matter Ultra 7 or Ultra 5, Lunar Lake has only 8 Cores, 4P and 4E, less amount of L3 Cache and lower clock speeds because it has been developed for efficiency, not performance. Even two generation older Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 Processors beat it handily in any CPU benchmarks. Arrow Lake H series, like the Core Ultra 7 255H is over 50% more powerful than Lunar lake. A person, wanting a productivity, content creation, or a Enginnering/Code execution laptop, lunar lake is a mess for those and this one is for those tasks. 1st try to understand the different category of Processors and their intended usecases rather than throwing your inputs without context.

No, Ultra 9 299V does not offer higher peak performance than Arrow Lake H series CPUs, both Ultra 7 255H and Ultra 9 285H. Check sany reviews andcome back. I don't think you understand what is the difference between Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake and still think any Ultra 9 is better performing than any Ultra 7 which is kinda childish. I mean, at least try to open the speicifcation of those Processors you are blabbering here and see their clock speeds core counts etc. Core Ultra 9 288V is a Lunar lake part in Lunar lake, all i5, i7 and and i9 are 8 Cores, 4P and 4E, only difference is in clock speed and In-SOC memory. Their CPU performance is almost same across the whole series. An Arrow Lake H series i7 comes with 6P + 8E + 2LPE cores. So, it has 14 Cores vs 8 in Lunar lake.
I think you understand nothing, yet you have made up some stuffs from god knows where.
