I don't get nVidia.. they've ceased driver development for this GPU, where that last drivers I see on their website is dated 2024. However, the GPUs are still available for OEMs to make new cards?!

Older card but with some handy uses:
  1. Add 4K video capability to an older desktop.
  2. Add DVI and HDMI ports for monitor input matching.
  3. Sidestep motherboard replacement if a video output port fails.
I actually have a similar GT 730 in an old Dell and it's great for browsing and image rendering in 4K at 30Hz. Nothing fancy but it's cheap and does the job.

I'll wager that these are new old stock; there's not much demand for GT 730s anymore and they've probably been sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

Totally agree. I was going to post this deal but saw that it had already been posted. A $27 discrete graphics card is a great troubleshooting tool and/or a part to revive an old PC.

In addition to the 3 scenarios I listed in a previous comment, you also get high def digital audio out via HDMI, to be extracted by a home theater receiver or fed directly to a monitor or TV.

Anything that needs graphics output (especially 4K) and performance is a non-issue. Especially old (Ryzen generations 1-4?) AMD cpus that didn't have built-in graphics. Or parts where the built-in graphics failed. As mentioned above, it helps in troubleshooting (don't risk a working and expensive GPU).
Also useful for building a server/network-attached-storage system out of an old desktop, but note that you'll probably want to include a x8 or x16 SATA adaptor and this board requires a x8 (or higher) PCIe port: it is typically easier to find a system with working built-in graphics than finding one with more than one >=x8 PCIe port.

+1. I have used cheap video cards to help people get a desktop working again after their built in video died. No need to replace the whole mobo or computer if it's just dead video. I would like this deal more if there was no fan. Often the people i'm helping have their computer in a dirty environment (shop computer) so no moving parts is always worth a LOT more to me.
