This DeWalt mechanics set stands out as a socket-heavy kit with a sturdy blow mold case, especially for SAE and metric work. The 6 point sockets get a lot of praise for gripping stubborn nuts, and the snug storage keeps pieces from falling out in transit. The case has four metal clasps and helps organize existing sockets and ratchets, though it is heavy and the sockets can be wedged in tightly. A few notes also flag the large SAE share and occasional ratchet oiling, making it a solid fit if you want a compact, durable mechanics kit.
