It says very clearly that it takes six hours. And there is a big red warning label at the top reminding. If you do as instructed it's just fine.

A couple times I must have dripped the solution on the outside of the case and then inadvertently got it on my fingers and subsequently in my eyes. Wow. Talk about pain. I have since learned to be extremely careful to not touch the outside of the case with the fingers that will be inserting the lenses into my eyes. But, except for the extreme pain due to user error, this stuff does a great job cleaning my lenses. They feel like a new pair every day.

This Hydraglyde version causes many users to have foggy vision. My wife and I cannot use it. Just my $.02. I kind of have to laugh at the people who complain about it stinging their eyes - obviously they did not follow the directions.

Fill to line, wait 6 hours, eyes will never burn. My monthly contacts still feel brand new after a month I usually forget to replace them.
