Community Reviews
This open box Vizio 50 inch 4K smart LED TV is drawing attention as a very cheap garage or spare room screen, especially at the sub 100 dollar shipped price. The appeal is the size for the money, with eBay return protection also making the risk feel manageable. The main concern is quality control, since reports include cracked or shattered screens, flickering lines, a white patch in dark scenes, burn in, missing cables, and even a unit with poor picture quality. A cautious bargain if you are willing to test it right away.
The TV may deliver very strong picture quality for a low-cost garage TV use case.
eBay returns for item not as described can trigger a seller response deadline and a prepaid return label.
eBay buyer protections can add an extra layer when paying with PayPal alongside the return process.
The TV can show a noticeable white area in the center during dark scenes.
The TV can arrive with physical damage such as a shattered screen or cracked display.
The listing can be misleading for open-box condition, with units arriving as an older model or not matching the stated "new" condition.
The TV can arrive with multiple lines across the screen and flickering that suggests a bad panel.
