The controller on these is plagued with issues, google "issues with Innogrit IG5236 controller".

Wow, 2-year warranty? Only 700 TBW for a 2TB drive? That's worse than PNY.

OK... you are getting my two cents....

I personally only buy drives with the highest endurance ratings. This drive is rated at 700TBW but there are multiple drives that are rated at 1,200TBW.

So, I would only buy drives that are rated for 1,200TBW. You know when a harddrive falls... it is not fun... it is the one think I always upgrade in every single laptop that I have ever owned. And if I pay $50 to much... I put it to piece of mind. I personally got a 2TB SK Hynix P41 for CHEAP on slickdeals before the RAM crisis.

Drives that are rated for 1,200 TBW are....
SK Hynix Platinum P41
~1,200 TBW
~$200–$220
Excellent overall performance & endurance for Gen 4.
WD Black SN850X 2TB
~1,200 TBW
~$129.99–$311.99
High‑speed gaming SSD; often discounted heavily.
Samsung 990 PRO 2TB
1,200 TBW
~$244.99–$255
Well‑known premium Gen 4 choice.
WD Black SN7100 2TB
~1,200 TBW
~$369.99
Newer WD drive with strong efficiency; endurance confirmed 1,200 TBW.
Depends on use. I have a 500tb drive from 2014 that is just used to store steam games, has less than 150tbw after 12 years.

Do you think it will ship? Match is a long time. Could they cancel the order?

Not end of the world. Folks for instance have had already contacted Adorama CS to cancel the $154.99 deal because it does not ship until March. I ordered and then canceled mine without issue.

Every retailer has a CS section to go about current status , cancellation, etc. heck you might as well check your order confirmation email.

Point is, you should not be giving up that easily. Not impossible
Ship date is accurate. However, if you use a credit card, it shouldn't charge you until it ships.

I missed floppy disk. It was neat at the time. Ok don't laugh at me. I'm not advocating how things were better back then or whatever relevant to it.Edit: too late Frown

Rather interesting, Micron makes the NAND according to this review https://www.enostech.com/verbatim...sd-review/
however, trying to get warranty work done with Verbatim is a PITA, so those that do buy this, good luck on getting it to work for 2 years, so you don't have to worry about warranty claims

Realistically, is this absolutely fine for a PS5?
