The nitrus carbide blade is seriously tough.

I had a project, cutting hard steel, bought Milwaukee combo pack (not this one), those titanium blades were losing their teeth in less than a minute.

I went back, bought a three pack of nitrus carbide blades, one blade took care of everything. The other two are still not used to this day, the nitrus carbide blade is amazing.

On sale at my local HD! But oscillating blades are disposables. Amazon has 16 titanium blades for $22 [amazon.com]. Milwauke might be a deal if they last 3x longer, or if you really need that 1 carbide blade.

That same set is listed differently on a regular sale for $20, so the $16 doesn't seem like such a steal unless you needed these already.

I feel omt blades are overpriced since they are disposable.

Star lock blades are even more expensive.

Plenty in stock. Snagged one. At least for now, in my area, online inventory assessment looks correct.

The fact that they (all manufacturers) don't sell star lock adapters (to older standards) tells you the true purpose of that proprietary design: forcing you to pay egregious pricing
