Since I just posted the Mendham Metro deal, I was checking specs on the BMC Alpine Challenge over on Conte's website.

Just gonna say this is a terrific bike - well worth the money (IMO) - even if it's not nearly as cheap as last year. Oh well, inflation. Love the blue on this bike. Unfortunately, only available in size SMALL, but if you're under 5'5". this could be the bike for you.

I bought this bike as a personal ride last year. Very lightweight, very responsive, has pretty high-end components for the money, through axles. What else? I don't know, I really like mine and think you will too.

Conte's Bike Shop was terrific to deal with. They set up the bike perfectly (and, trust me, I went through everything after taking delivery). Wouldn't hesitate to buy a high end bike from these folks. My two cents, YMMV
