I've used the instinct 2 solar for going on 3 years now and I love it. I don't care about all the latest features, I just want a smart device on my wrist to see whos calling, read texts discreetly, and do some basic fitness and sleep tracking. I also don't want to take it off every day to charge it. Battery life is declining, but it still lasts a couple weeks on a charge

I checked with Asurion on whether their policy, ASURION 2 Year Wearables Protection Plan ($200 - $249.99), would cover condensation. It was a long conversation, but the short answer is "no". It is not a mechanical defect. It is a problem that affects the watch's usability, but the mechanical operations are not affected.

Only 5% 1 star customer reviews, so it's not a widespread problem ... but it sucks if you happen to draw the short straw in the QC lottery pool.

You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?

Note: The actual color of this watch is a brighter/lighter shade of blue than what is depicted in the Amazon illustrations.

For sure. Much more sedated and desirable in the photo above. False advertising because it's really a jarring, bright blue?

Have had my instinct 2s solar for about the same time and I agree. I prefer the analog clocks this has but nothing wrong with mine to justify upgrading.
