I bought the standard version refurbished. (Basically the same thing) and it wasn't worth the $15 I spent.

I wonder how much of this is just overstock listed as open/refurb to remove/reduce warranty and not cannibalize new product sales.

Bought new a year ago and agree with the reviews of very little suction. I ended up going with a larger unit with heat which worked out a lot better. Gave this to goodwill as the return period ended.

In for 1--I've bought previous Bissell refurbs and they've worked out great. My cats are sadly getting up there in age and more prone to accidents and I'm hoping this will be easier to grab and use than the full size carpet cleaner whenever it happens.

Bissell little green proheat. Fitbit on sale during the holidays for under 100. It's a pretty good machine. Bigger but still small enough to move around

I have the previous model. Great for cleaning small spots, and suction works, but it's not as great as a floor carpet cleaner. You have to tilt it forward to get good suction. It's handy sometimes. Worth it at this price.
If you need to clean a whole couch then get something bigger. Or get a spray bottle with laundry soap and nature's miracle of you have pets. Get a scrub brush for your drill and scrub it real good. Spray clean water on it and use a shop vac to clean it up. I did this to get saliva stains out of a couch that my dog left.

Have a full size one that obviously works great but it a pain to lug around just for the tiny hairballs and quick cleanups, so willing to give this a shot for the price. If it can quickly get a little muck off a couch cushion as opposed to bringing the upright down the stairs, filling the water tank, using it, emptying the water tank and the dirty water tank and stowing it away then it's worth $30
