This is a good set with lots of variety for an emergency roadside kit. BUT, there is so much wasted space in the drawers. I ended up taking out all the sockets and putting them on a socket tree, and put them in a tool bag 1/5 the size of this box.

You sure? I don't think I've ever seen this go below $129. The 242-pc is on sale all the time for $99 though.

I just got this set. I like that this one has more open end wrenches. It's a nice quality set, a bit heavy to lug around at 37 pounds but well organized in the drawers and they are removeable. Buyer beware the shipping was atrocious. It came in a large box (way bigger then the toolbox itself) with no padding or insulation, there were 11 sockets rolling around loose in the large box that had fallen out of the middle drawer. Luckily there were none lost and everthing was there, not sure if the box was internally compromised but everything seemed okay. I guess thats a testament to how durable the toolbox itself is.

These sets are a great starter kit for young folks interested in car & home repair. I bought a Craftsman 250+ set 20 years ago and it's still in use. Now I'm not 100% sure of the build quality nowadays. Also, I'd prefer all the sockets to be 6-points (the 1/4" and 3/8" drives are 6 but the 1/2" drives are 12-points) but at this price point, you're really just starting off a tool buying frenzy that will likely last your whole life.
