I'm fairly certain it DOES come with a case, even though it's not listed in the product description. There are several reviews that mention a case and a picture of this product on Avapow' website shows a case. I'm going to buy it and simply return it if it doesn't have a case, but I can't imagine they wouldn't include a protective case.

I agree. In terms of "Amps per dollar" they are equal in value, but the 3000A offers better "Capacity per dollar". In short, the 6000A offers 34% more battery capacity (32k vs 23.8k mAh) but costs 100% more.

The 3000A unit can jump-start almost any consumer gas engine (up to 8.0L) and most light-duty diesels. Spending an extra $25 on the 6000A makes more sense if you plan on using it to charge devices when camping, in which case the extra 8,200mAh of capacity becomes useful. Or, if you own a heavy-duty truck (e.g., F350), or live in a very cold climate. In temps below -10°C (14°F), the effective power drops, so a 3000A unit might struggle to jump a large V8 engine in extreme cold conditions, whereas, the power overhead you get with the 6000A ensures it can still deliver about 600–800 cranking amps even when the internal lithium cells are freezing.

Short answer is "up to a year", but couple of things to be aware of.

Extreme heat (e.g., car in direct sunlight) or extreme cold can degrade the capacity faster. All lithium-ion batteries will naturally discharge overtime, so recharging it to 100% every few months is a ideal to make sure there's enough peak current to start your engine. That being said, I've kept mine on the shelf for much longer than that and have never had a problem.

In terms of Amps yes, but the 6000A has only 34% more capacity (mAh) for twice the cost.

100% state of charge is good for lead acid battery. for lithium-ion somewhere in the middle is the best eg 40%-60% but of course you don't want to dig it out the trunk and charge it every couple of weeks 😂. extreme cold doesn't hurt the battery if you are not using it,ie ok for storage but need to bring it back to room temperature before charge & discharge. For jump starter batteries, heat kills it fast, a couple of jump in a short time can cause the soft pack to bloat

Not the best brand, but for $26, it's hard to beat. How long will it last is the question.

Quite a while. I just make sure its not charged to 100% when i put it away. It holds it amazingly well.
