Rosewill's 70W retractable USB C charger stands out as a compact travel friendly design with a built in cable, foldable plug, and handy display. Charging works fine, and the built in stand and retractable cord make it feel especially useful on the go. The main knocks are durability and polish, with concerns about the cord mechanism, a dim screen with tiny text, and reports that it can run hot during sustained charging. It feels like a practical travel charger, but not a fully proven one.
Common Questions (4)
Long-term reliability is uncertain because the thread includes reports of Rosewill electronics failing after a month or a week, while other items have been fine or decent. The charger itself has only early-use reports so far, with initial quality described as high.
Yes, it is described as pretty compact for travel, and the retractable cable makes it easier to pack than a separate cord. The tradeoff is concern about how long the retractable mechanism will hold up over repeated use.
The display works, but it is very dim and the text is small enough that reading glasses and a dark room may be needed. It is still considered usable for the price, but the screen is not bright or large.
It can get hot after about 15 minutes of 60W charging. The charger still functions, but heat buildup is a practical concern if you plan to push it near its upper output for long periods.

After looking at this closer I realized I was comparing 2 different things, this won't give you the charging power of the Newegg item (the Amazon device USB-C PD3.0 (35W Output), but it does contains a battery.
