looks like basically the same thing as the gourmia for $120, although the gourmia is listed as 1800w vs 1700w for the chefman

Have gourmia one and once you know how to place pizza on pizza stone using pizza peel, you will never go for kitchen oven ... That 800° temperature is what you need

If you are RED-GREEN colorblind, be aware that the dials are nearly impossible to differentiate the setting. They light up white, and as you turn the dial a slightly different color turns along the dial (like a speedometer), however this temperature indicator is not visible if you have any sort of color impairment and you'll have no idea it it's at 500 or 700 degrees.
I had to use my phones camera and tweak contrast to see it, and eventually returned the oven, even though it did cook a nice pizza. Is the image 550? I would have no idea without my phones camera, and without it, the entire dial is lit up looking exactly the same.

(edit to actually upload the image)

Ha, you got me looking at both, and they are definitely different. But the Gourmia has a lot more features, including a fan to make it an air fryer. The heating elements are set up differently, so this one may be better at making pizza, but I don't really see any evidence of it being better. Other than the higher price. I have a gas pizza oven, but I'd have a heck of a lot of fun with one of these. Though, I'd probably get the Gourmia.

I don't have any personal experience with either. But I have seen reviews indicating that the Gourmia buttons are prone to failure. Not sure if these knobs hold up any better. But I've always thought of the Gourmia as a copycat of this one.
