At Staples - No Purchase Fee when you buy a $200 VISA Gift Card In Store Only (a $7.95 value) - Starts from 1/11-1/17 - Limit 9 per customer per day

FAQ's:
- No, you cannot use Staples GC's to purchase these.
- No, these do not count towards your spend requirements for a premier membership.
- No, these do not earn you any Staples rewards.
- No, you cannot use coupons/ rewards to purchase these GC's.
- Yes, you can split payment between multiple cards (if your cashier permits it) YMMV
- The limit of 9 may or may not be enforced depending on your store/ cashier. YMMV
- Why is this a deal? Some members have CC's that earn 5% CB at office supply stores (INK and Amex Simply Cash). Others need to meet minimum CC spend.
- What if my store doesn't accept payment with a CC? Your store likely has had issues with fraud and it is managers discretion on what payment they will accept.
- Other chase cards may have special offers for Staples ($ limited). Check your chase account under chase offers.

Thank you for posting these deals. You cannot buy lotto tickets with a credit card. But since these are DEBIT card, lotto vending machines will take them. With Chase Ink, it's like buying them and get 5% cash back.

Any other credit cards offering more than 2% cash back for such Staples in store purchases?

The best one is this one: https://creditcards.chase.com/bus...?CELL=6TKV

5% back on office supply stores (including Staples), internet, cable, phone services, up to $25k in purchases per year. No annual fee. It's a business card, but even if you do a small amount of business (of any sort), you might qualify.

Thanks for posting this! Say, how do you find this offer? It used to be posted in the weekly ad (and you know it always comes the week after the prepaid Mastercard offer), but I can't seem to find it any more, no matter how deeply I drill into the weekly ad. What's your secret?

There's no secret. I posted the deal because I saw the deal and no one else posted about it.
