I have the 1.8 size version of this. Yes it does have a vent on the back. I've been using it for about a year and a half. It is pretty bad. Two main issues. First it just doesn't get hot enough, so often my cloths are still a little wet and wrinkled after the max time on the dial. Even increasing the time half way through the clothes get dry but are still wrinkled. Second issue is lint. The round thing in back accumulates a lot of lint. You have to empty it multiple times throughout a drying cycle. If you don't it blocks the heat. So this thing works in a pinch (if you want to iron) but I plan on replacing it with a gas or 240 volt dryer soon.

Keep in mind that all the moisture you're removing goes somewhere, it doesn't matter what the heating element is. A dry environment can make that more manageable, but regular use in an enclosed space can make a normal-sized room damp sooner than you might realize. The season/humidity in your area will compound that.

TL;DR: Things can get real gross, real fast. If your bathroom has a ventilation fan, using the dryer there with it running can be a solid workaround.

Looks interesting but very specific use cases. Literally fits maybe 3 or 4 shirts. Studio dwellers maybe for convenience? A little over double the price can generally get you a full size dryer.

Do they sell a matching small washer too?

Gas isn't the only concern re: it's electric. Moisture is also a concern in certain instances. This will possibly raise RH too much and make mold a concern
