Soundcore P20i earbuds are a strong budget pick for everyday listening, gym use, and backup pairs, with long battery life, solid bass, and decent call quality. The app EQ can improve the sound, and the compact, lightweight buds pair easily and hold up well for heavy use. They also work well for audiobooks, and one earbud can be used at a time to stretch listening time. The main drawbacks are no noise cancelling, tap controls instead of a physical button, and reports that one earbud can lose charge faster than the other, while the charging case feels flimsy.

Common Questions (5)

  • Sound is generally described as decent to pretty good, with strong bass and better results when using the EQ in the Soundcore app. They are also considered surprisingly good for the price, though not on the level of AirPods Pro.

    xxxRipperxxxgathermewoolBackhome77romantrof

  • Battery life is reported as long, and they can be used one earbud at a time to stretch listening time further. They are also described as holding a long charge during gym and daily use.

    xxxRipperxxxlightsandcolorelbercho

  • They are used successfully as gym headphones for heavy daily workouts and are described as durable enough for that abuse. The earbuds also seem to pair without annoying issues and can survive rough handling, including being washed once and still working.

    lightsandcolorBobbyS30romantrof

  • No noise cancelling is included. If ANC is a must, these are not the right pick.

    elberchoElLobo11

  • The earbuds can sound good, but the charging case is described as very flimsy thin plastic. That raises concern that the case may not last as long as the earbuds.

Is there any reason to buy these instead of the Baseus earbuds that are often cheaper and have decent active noise cancellation?

Arrived today and they sound good but the case is so insanely flimsy and thin plastic that I don't see it laying very long

I've used these as gym headphones for the last 2+ years. They're great, and hold a long charge. They do seem to be around this price pretty often, but a great buy regardless.
Do they stay in the ear and not fall out?

Been using one for couple of years now. Like them. One weird thing is that the left earbud always loose charge much faster than the right one.
I bought the P30 earbuds for Black Friday and returned them for that same reason - left earbud would be at 10% when the right one was still at 80%. I guess something's wrong with the charging contact. I just bought this model and hopefully they don't have the same problem or back they will go to Amazon.

I found out if you put it down upside down (the case), it does better. Still a problem nevertheless

I have purchased these 3 times and within 3-6 months one of them will inevitably become significantly lower than the other. Save your money and buy the JBL ones that are $30.

Similar experience. They did stand behind them and refunded me after I left a review.
