Purchased two of these when they were on sale for $12 a couple weeks back.
One had been previously used.

I like the smaller form factor. Ugreen also had the HDMI splitter for $6.75 but it's bigger. Can't go wrong with Anker brand.

Currently using multiple inputs on my monitor, but switch requires two button presses. Gonna pick this up to reduce it to 1 button press during the 2-3 times a day I switch inputs. Damn I'm lazy.

Agreed you can't go wrong with Anker except for one thing: the price. This is cheap but you can bet it will be "cheaper." Their pricing stinks.

I'd rather get this one because it's bi-directional:

I have this one, works as intended, no frills, doesn't overheat.

Anything like this for USB-C switching (with video signal)?

The Anker one is bi-directional as well. It's not listed as such, but it works both ways.

I have one and I am using it on my PC to switch between my monitor and TV.
