There's always some clueless joker who goes off about $299 imports vs $3000+ USA models. 💩

Also a lawyer and also privileged to own many USA made instruments, but I can't stand the cork-sniffing.

The import stuff these days is really, really good. Things aren't like they were when I started playing back in the early 2000s. You can buy a sub-$1000 guitar these days and have all the guitar you'll ever need.

When you buy a Core PRS guitar, you're paying for USA manufacturing, nicer materials, more consistent quality control, etc. But dimishing returns in terms of sound, playability, and build quality gets insane after about $1500.

If you just need a guitar that sounds good, looks good, and plays good, ain't nothing wrong with a PRS SE, Squier, Epiphone, or import Fender. I've played them all. Play what you like and can afford, don't let anyone make you feel bad about that.

It's not an attack, it's an observation. You came into the comment section of a deal post for a product you have no intention of buying to crap all over that product and make others feel inferior because they can't afford "the real thing." You know what you're doing. Stop playing the victim.

Oh man, this is a nice deal! Paul's guitar and the NF53 are tempting but I can't be adding any more guitars to my stockpile lol. Great prices all around.

I got a PRS SE Tremonti edition in trade for something else and I must say its decent.
I replaced the pickup trim to all black and put some all black locking tuners on it.
Its a player. That charcoal Pauls looks mighty nice.

I recently got a se ce24 standard satin (in charcoal though) and tempted to buy the silver to match. Fantastic feeling and sounding guitar for that price!

Didn't see the coupon initially, now I see it at the top. Some good deals there.

Smokin' deals. The SE line is serious performance, period. It's a joke how good they play and sound out of the box.

The SE ce24 is as good as the USA ce24. It's crazy how good of a guitar it is, regardless of the price

Too bad it's just the crappy licensed stuff that's made by someone else. The "real" PRS stuff costs quite a bit more.
It's not crappy stuff, Cort makes quality guitars in a PRS-specific, PRS-speced part of their Indonesian operation. These are great value guitars. Certainly so for almost all guitarists hanging out on Slickdeals.

Assuming you like the PRS style, of course.

Compared to real PRS guitars, yes, it's crappy stuff. Every time I try an SE, I get rid of it. The only exception being an older Angelus SE. None of it compares to US-made PRS instruments.

They're Cort guitars, shaped like a PRS. The hardware, woods, fretwork, and pickups are all 2nd rate, as with all Cort budget guitars.
Again, the Indonesian PRSs are absolutely solid guitars. Fabulously made for the price.

The Maryland made guitars are hideously garish. Hideously overpriced.
