I'm a 300 lb side sleeper, I put this on a cheap $50 packable cot and it felt like i was sleeping on my bed

Pair it up with a high quality down quilt and it'll feel better than your bed

This is a good deal! Had mine out on a section of the AT last year and it was comfortable (a bit noisy though if you toss and turn). For those interested weight is ~ 17.3 oz (490g). Here's Gear Labs review: https://www.outdoorgearlab.com/re...-insulated.

Comfort Light is different from the Ether Light. Different models. For most people the differences that matter here are weight and R-value. The Comfort Light is higher weight but lower R-value. It's probably a great pad for most users though. It's still a backpacking pad, just not particularly light.

Are these really worth it if weight isn't a factor?

Yep, good catch. Somehow I got to the Ether Light page at Sam's so was focused on it. It's still in stock and on sale as well. https://www.samsclub.com/ip/sea-t...5176522195

pretty helpful if you want something light and small but if you have a lot of space (only camp with a large SUV/Van) then a fully inflatable mattress will be better.
