I've had this for a couple years. It's pretty handy if you're walking the dog at night and do better with an extra free hand vs holding a flashlight.

For this price thumbs up.

If you're gonna post a smartaleck response, at least address the original query. So how many lumen is extra extra extra extra extra sun?

I have this. The light battery barely last 30 minutes. It's not very bright but plenty sufficient when there's barely any street light around. The rubber on/off switch fell off after 2 weeks. After six months, battery won't hold the charge. Amazon do sale replacement light insert.
It's OK price for a decently thick beanie.

Keep in mind, in very cold weather these batteries are small, the battery has to work harder and it drains quicker. I live in Minnesota, I know this to be true.

The light is plenty bright and has three brightness settings. I use it for nightly walks and usually only need the lowest setting to see the sidewalk, which helps save battery. Using it for about 45 minutes a day, it lasts around two weeks per charge. Charging is a little different since it plugs directly into a USB port instead of using a cable, but it works fine with an old-school USB-A charging brick or plug it in directly into a computer. There's a red light while charging that turns green when it's done. It's perfect for walking, though it may not be bright enough if you're looking to use it as a flashlight.

I bought three of these back in Nov 2024. I live in Minnesota, out in the boonies. the wife and kids use these when they are doing chores at night and they've worked very well.

They aren't a flashlight replacement, won't light up the sky, but for walking back and forth to the barn or working close up, they are great. I paid about $10 back then and would recommend at this price, no doubt.

but then again, i'm probably just a bot, too.

Haha yeah us bots have no clue what we're talking about.

On a serious note I think you're spot on. I have a few great flashlights and this serves a nice purpose keeping you warm and hands free when you need a little extra light.

Much more comfortable than using my headlamps with a strap around my head/hat.

Have a great day!

Trash. Buy a headlamp with a strap (aka most headlamps) so you can use it with or without the headwear, in any weather, all year round. Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Harbor Freight, Amazon, etc., all have relatively cheap headlamps that are ADJUSTABLE, have different settings modes, AND tell you how many lumens they are. Why bother with this?

Even buying a Chinese headlamp with strap is more sensible. The strap quality will be much better than the ultra cheap and thin fabric they use to make these beanies. I had several that had headphones built in, the beanies are garbage, threw them away. Hinshark is registered to SHENZHEN QIUDUOYA TRADING CO., LTD
