How many devices do you have OVER 1Gbps? Cat5e still works great in a home

Reminder that, depending upon the ports/devices/endpoints, a short enough run of Cat 5e could easily support 2.5Gbps data rates or higher.

Good luck!

To be honest, 3 due to multiple people working from home here. We're constantly on Zoom calls and working on large datasets so having the fastest download and upload speed saves us a little extra time which adds up after a while.

Anyways, that's beside the point. I only meant if you already had some old beat-up cables that this would be a good time to replace with these since they're on a good sale.

Cat 5E can support 2.5 gbps on it's full length - 100 meters.
