In previous threads and on other sites, people recommend using a foreign VPN to checkout at an even lower price. I wanted to give that a shot but it won't let me check out since it asks for the issuing country of the card and my credit card is from the US. Anyone have any luck?

What an inane response. Are you saying your life relies on this app? We pay for a ton of subscriptions in life, why would you not want a deal that brings it down to $4-5 instead of $18? That's what I wound up doing. Would have been nice to keep favs and stats, but not too hard to reestablish favs.
