You can program them to show whatever color you want, using the Kasa app. Numerous shades of white are available, which is what I use as above-cabinet lighting in my kitchen.
Just a heads up that these have a low light density (LED's per unit of distance).
That said, if you're installing this in a location where you're not seeing the actual light strip itself, they're more than OK. I have this currently installed under my computer desk, without a diffuser channel, and I cannot make out the individual LEDs.
It's also linked to google home so not only can you change the colors via that app (vs. the Kasa or Tapo app), but you can link these lights to automations as well.
