Either this is a horrible design or my cats are stupid. They don't kick the litter to the back but to the front. So, I would have litter everywhere on the floor. Lol

I'd suggest one with a door.Just picked this one up from Target for our 2 cats (1 large, 1 medium). And it works great to keep the litter and smell in. https://www.target.com/p/enclosed...A-87059441

I'm going with your cats are stupid. Mine use one just like this just fine. Then again, they also have 3 boxes and apparently took a vote and they all PEE in one and crap in the other one. Damnedest thing I have ever seen, they will not poop in the one they all pee in.
