The drill is entry level for 18 volt. It depends what you're using it fo, how often and if you can afford a better drill.

If you know someone who is getting their first home, this is a great idea. Just show them how the impact driver is different to the drill driver, otherwise they will mash their picture hooks

good deal for very light jobs, but before you jump into it, you gotta make seriously decision if you really want 'dewalt' route or 'muwakee' route or 'ryobi' route or others, cuz once you started to buy one of them, you basicly stuck with it cuz the battery...... you will end up buying same brand tools just cuz you don't wanna waste money on different brand batteries.
