Jackery's 1000 v2 bundle stands out as a lightweight portable power station kit with two 100W solar panels, and the $600 price is described as an all time low for this configuration. It is framed as a strong value versus Costco and other comparable bundles, especially since the v2 is lighter than the expandable 1000 Plus. Real world use includes running a refrigerator for about 8 to 10 hours, powering a laptop on the road, and handling a coffee maker or electric skillet one at a time. The main tradeoff is portability versus panel size, since the 2 by 100W setup is questioned against similar priced 200W panel kits. A practical pick when weight and bundled solar matter most.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. The bundle has hovered around $650 for the last 3 months and was listed at $1300 before that, making $600 an all-time low for this configuration.

  • This is the 1000 v2 bundle with two 100W panels for about $200 less than Costco's 1000 Plus bundle with one 100W panel. The v2 is lighter, while the 1000 Plus is expandable and offers more output.

  • The main reason to choose the 2x100W bundle is portability: two smaller panels are easier to move and pack than one larger 200W panel. A 220W folding panel was described as roughly 72 by 28 inches, suggesting the larger combo is bulkier.

  • It can power a Samsung French door refrigerator for about 8-10 hours if the doors are not opened often. It can also run a coffee maker or an electric skillet, but not both at the same time.

  • Yes. It can power a laptop from a vehicle for remote work, which avoids needing to find an outlet when the battery runs low.

Looking up the price history indicates the last 3 months the price has hovered around the $650 range and that it has been listed for the full $1300 before that. $600 is an all time low.

It's NEVER been this price with two 100w panels.

Why get this with 2x 100W panels when the 200W panel combo is the same price? Weight and portability only?

I think so. I have a Renogy 220 watt folding panel that is 72 inches by 28 inches. Don't know the exact dimensions here, but it is probably pretty similar.

I've always debated on getting these but besides for prepping or camping reasons, what do you guys use it for? Is it worth it to get?

Amazon has the comparable Bluetti on sale for $394. Add Renogy or other solar panels and it'll be less. My buddy that camps out of his 4runner months on end thinks the Bluetti is more durable.
I use the Bluetti as a power outage backup for my CPAP. I'll get some solar panels when the need arises.

I'm curious, too. Can someone translate what this can power and for how long?

I've had this unit since July but purchased a single 200w panel from Harbor Freight which was less expensive and more compact. I live in an area where trees falling on power lines is a common occurrence so for me it was a good choice. The Jackery powers my Samsung French door refrigerator for about 8-10 hours as long as no one opens the doors that often. I've also used it to power up my coffee maker and electric skillet ... but won't power both at the same time. I'm happy with my purchase but just bought a large Oupes and frankly their customer service is much better.

I can't think of a reason to get this. I have two EV cars that serve this purpose for camping trips and power walls for home backup but this deal is too good. Give me a reason to buy it

Prep and camp for sure. I tend to take one to power my laptop for remote work from my vehicle, while on the road.. no need to find a place to plug in once power is low. My truck has an outlet but I'm not always in my truck.

Saw this thread, did some research, ended up with a Bluetti Elite 100v2 and the ZOUPW 200w foldable solar panel kit, after tax it was $598.22.

Bluetti has higher running watts, higher peak watts, has XT60 connector and an MC4-to-XT60 adapter so better support for aftermarket solar panels, reports of their inverters being higher efficiency than other brands, etc. Seems the only thing the Jackery has over it is the battery rating, slightly higher Wh.

There is also a video on YT showing how to easily add a port to the Bluetti to plug in additional battery(ies) for more capacity.
