Yes, it was close to that right before Black Friday from the LG Partnerstore. It is currently $1799 at the LG Partnerstore.

Decent deal and considering. It includes the 5 yr total warranty with Allstate (2 mfg/Costco + 3 Allstate). Allstate direct is $119 for 2 years and $229 for 4 years.

I miss the days 20 years ago when it was Squaretrade and you could hunt for deals on discount codes.
