My work gives these to everyone for our laptops. They've been great for me for the last couple of years. Super Fast Charging 2.0 on my Samsung Galaxy.

Reputable brand that is increasingly more present in the corporate space, selling through the IT channels. As an IT reseller, I would not have any hesitation positioning this brand to my large enterprise clients.

I could probably sell a dozen of them and reach out to the rep to get a free one sent to me, but for 15 bucks I'm in for 1.

This is a compact 100W Satechi USB C charger that stands out for solid build quality, PPS support, and ETL certification. The brand gets strong marks for reliability across other accessories, and this model is described as a good fit for newer Android phones and everyday laptop charging. The main knocks are that it is a single port brick, larger and heavier than newer 100W chargers, and its power factor correction only kicks in above 45W at 20V. A few reliability complaints also surface, so it looks best for buyers who value certification and brand reputation over the smallest size.

  • The unit is ETL certified by Intertek, which supports safer use for unattended charging.

    asukawailerwailer

  • The adapter supports PPS at 3.3V to 20V up to 5A for fast-charging compatible devices.

    OliveHarrier3281wailer

  • The adapter has reportedly worked reliably for years in a work-issued laptop charging setup.

    Hurricane_Kicksdatasian

  • The charger can deliver Super Fast Charging 2.0 on a Samsung Galaxy when used with compatible devices.

    Hurricane_Kicks

  • The power factor correction reportedly only kicks in at higher loads, such as 45W and above in 20V modes.

    SnuupyPlutomania

  • The adapter reportedly lacks PPS on some versions and is single-port, which can limit charging flexibility.

    asuka

  • The charger may not provide sustained 100W output because it can throttle if heat control is weak.

    bokeh

  • Two adapters reportedly died within a week after plugging in a USB-C cable, with LEDs staying off and no output.

Same item still sold on Amazon for $23 roughly. On Amazon, it says 2 year warranty, so this should also be 2 years since it's new and not refurb. Based on the reviews, it came out mid/late 2021. Some people love it, some had issues with it falling apart or not working. 4.1 stars.

EDIT: 3rd party seller on Amazon so product is likely discontinued.

It's $15 so whatever but the problem with these types of chargers is the heat. It will throttle after a certain point if they didn't do good job of controlling heat so you won't get a sustained 100W. I personally still like the UGreen GaN ones the best. Also have the Anker GaN ones too.

Got a good review, efficiency is good and it has power factor correction (though only in 20V modes and 45w and above). One of the heavier units too. But for $15 this is a good option: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzOdaEP4v5A

Can anyone comment on the brand, and the safety profile of this. I only use anker but everything I have is like 65W range, looking for something stronger for my laptop, but have to make sure the safety standards are good. Would be great if someone with good knowledge about the safety standards for chargers could chime in. Thanks

High end brand that focuses on quality -- Generally better than what Anker has become.

Can anyone tell me if they are seeing a ton of extra blank lines in this post? I'm on mobile and I have to scroll like an extra 10 seconds to get to the actual posts. It's beyond frustrating.

I've never bought their chargers, but they are consistently ranked in a high tier with companies like Anker and Belkin. This is not a "no name" brand, and they've been delivering quality products in this space for years.

Brand is good. I got a small 100w travel charger before COVID. It did not negotiate PD with my work laptop and they replaced it right away. The replacement worked well. That one and a second one I got shortly after it are still going strong.
