not for smoke alarms unless you want to change out 2-3 times a year and most likely in the middle on the night.

So these are cheap batteries for remotes and other minor things..

But I've bought two of these big packs before and expect
3-5 of these batteries to be dead or defective

I have used couple of 48 packs of these in the past and based on my experience they leak less than most other batteries. The worst one I have seen are Duracell. I had couple packs of Duracell and they leaked inside their unopened packages.

Well it seems I clicked on the clicked on the 35% coupon in the past - doesn't get applied for me sadly.

Are you using these in Nests?

Most other smoke alarms I've ever encountered require 9v batteries... Nest and others recommend lithium batteries, no?
