Even with the 20% off the prices seem very high to me. Over $50 for a leather watch band? I have had good results just buying off brands from the Amazon Whse much less than these 'deals.' You just have to make sure you buy the correct size that fits your watch.
Nice to see for authentic bands, but these are still well overpriced. Third party nylon bands on amazon are ~$10-15 whereas OEM is still $52. The quality is a little higher from Garmin but absolutely not worth the price.
I feel like the $30 Nylon straps and $38 silicone straps are worth it at this price. Garmin has a unique silicone formulation that has a much nicer feel to it compared to the generic silicone bands I've tried, and the quickfit hardware on the knockoffs is noticeably cheaper (and the metal bits rust). The Garmin Nylon straps also have a nice give to them, comparable (if not better than) to the Apple sport straps that cost $50. I've gotten generic loops off Amazon for $10 that have no give and thus I'm always loosening and tightening them to get the right fit/comfort.

Agreed. It's annoying aftermarket bands can't match the same quality. Garmin knows what they've got unfortunately

I bought a replacement band for my Venu Sq 2 (20mm) for $7. The pins are so weak that even dragging your wrist in the edge of a bag, or pushing it through a sleeve, will cause them to pop out. The original Garmin one didn't do that. I only replaced the original because the little keeper piece (that holds the tail of the band down) broke. Next time, I'd just buy a package of keepers.
