See the reviews. Battery life is very very poor. Dies in less than a couple months.

Well what batteries are people using who are complaining about it? Regular? Or the lithium ones that last longer

The battery lasts three months—what more do people want?

I have the eufy smart lock with fingerprint entry, which is nice. My gf liked the smart lock idea but didn't care about fingerprint and we put one of these in her house. Battery lasts about 5-6 months (which is fine imo, just pay attention and replace/recharge it). A good wifi signal will help the battery last longer.

I cannot recommend enough getting things that are Matter and Thread certified at this point. It will save so much of a headache.

You are correct if you use a battery that is not lithium. I used to get two months out of Duracell until I switched to Lithium, now I get the 4-6 months of use before swapping them out, and as you well know, lithium batteries are not cheap unless you buy them at Sam's Club or Costco!

Otherwise, it's a great lock, and I highly recommend it!

I also own this have it since September and haven't needed to change the batteries yet. The lock works great and is easy to install.
The only thing I didn't like is the fingerprint scanner l so I just use the app or PIN code.
