FYI, this is just a motion sensor. It is not a "light".

I just swapped the oem (no name) batteries for the first time after 4.5yrs. Granted This was a very low traffic area. They do give you a warning badge on the sensor in the Hue app when it's ready for a change.

Yeah, they last for a longggg time. Years. Good sensors. Reset quickly. Only problem that I've had with any of mine is that one will trigger with morning sun in my yard sometimes.

I've had one triggering my front porch lights for over 4 years now without a hitch, and that's in a fairly high-traffic area.

The dome gets brittle after being in the sun so be careful when changing the batteries. I've had two break over the years. This latest iteration may be improved too early for me to tell

Seconding this advice -- just broke the dome on mine trying to replace batteries

It happend to me as well. It's hard to remove the cover to replace the battery so I accidentally broke the dome.

Proof that slickdeals 'staff' are just bots posting this stuff. Two bots individually 'posted' and 'approved and expanded on' this product with the title "LED Security Light" and despite the product not being a light at all and nothing mentioning a light in the product listing. I'm assuming all these bots do is have a list of products that SD is paid to promote and they automatically post them whenever the price drops with whatever metadata is in the product listing. This crap has really ruined this site for me.
