I like this deal. Brushed, but the price makes it worth it.
Drill+Driver+Circ+Recip+Oscill+ free batteries/charger 5x $65 = $325 - very good price
Sander+Blower+Vacuum+Light 4x $35 = $140 - very good price
$325 + $140 = $465 - and this deal is $36 lower than a very good price.
But register tools within 90 days and you get freaking LIFETIME warranty (Lifetime Service Agreement, LSA), even on BATTERIES! I became fanboy of RIDGID after I found out about LSA and used it once to get a battery replaced. Didn't have to mail it to them, a phone call and in a week or so I get a new battery.
These prices get higher over time but after all these years they keep churning out brushed tools for these shitty combo kits.
Ridgid power tools are made by the same Chinese company (TTIgroup com) that owns Milwaukee and also makes Ryobi.
They make some really good tools with under the Ridgid label these are not those tools.
Just buy good versions of the tools you need rather than paying for lesser versions and filler tools.

Agreed. Even though these have the same LSA, I'd rather have brushless which will be less likely to fail but also should be easier on the batteries. It takes more effort to build a brushless kit for a good price, but it's not impossible. Right now you can get the brushless hammer drill/impact driver kit with 4ah and 2ah MAX output batteries for $230 and get a free tool. For the free tool you have a few options including 1/2" mid torque impact, 6 1/2" circular saw, multi tool and angle grinder, all of which are brushless. You can also get the free tools with the $150 2x 4ah MAX output battery kit.
Essentially for $380 you can get 3x 4ah MAX output batteries, 1x 2ah MAX output battery, 2x chargers, 1/2" brushless hammer drill, 1/4" brushless 1/4" impact driver, brushless 6 1/2" circular saw and brushless multi tool which gives you $50 to spend on one other tool (if you really need it).
Personally, instead of a cordless circular saw, I would probably get the angle grinder or 1/2" impact driver and get a 7 1/4" corded circular saw because in my experience cordless circular saws chew through batteries. Plus, with the corded ones, you can plug them into one of those automatic vacuum switches that turns on the vacuum when you start running the saw.

I have some brushed Ridigd tools, they are solid tools. Of course I'd rather have brushless
